The figure and the branch are rendered quite beautifully! Spectacular, even! I do see what ~Sivad-Galdian was talking about, and I believe I know the reason why that part of his pants looks different. If you look at his right leg, the armor plating goes just past the center of his leg beyond where you've indicated the kneecap. It then travels up the leg to his upper thigh area. On the left leg, the armor plating does not go past the kneecap area indicated, and remains within his inner thigh area. Either way, it's still a killer drawing!:D

You always do such a good job, the texture on the tree is wonderful, as is the face and pose. My only problem is the far leg, the leather plate on the pants seems awkward, as does the calf. For a moment it didn't seem like he had pants on below the knee, or else they were too tight. Otherwise, wonderful pose. and detail. I really love the face and hair.
